LISA FORBES CARDELLO

Crowned on January 13, 2024 in Virginia Beach, VA, Lisa Forbes Cardello represented Kansas at the 2024 Mrs USA Earth™ pageant--bringing the state its first-ever national win for Mrs USA Earth.

Born and raised in Overland Park, Kansas, she is a 2003 graduate of the University of Kansas.  Lisa always knew that public speaking and being on stage would be a part of her future as it was always one of her greatest passions.

Lisa started competing in pageants in 1999 beginning with Miss Kansas USA.  She won the Miss Kansas USA 2004 title and competed at Miss USA 2004.  Following her reign as Miss Kansas USA, She appeared on ABC's The Bachelor, Paris as one of the 25 bachelorettes vying for the love of Travis Stork--who can now be seen on the NBC hit series, The Doctors.

The very next year in 2005, Lisa launched Winning Edge Pageant Coaching.  She has been coaching girls in almost every system imaginable for the last 19 years with winners at the local, state, and national Levels.

In 2007, Lisa was crowned Miss Earth United States and competed for the title of Miss Earth in the Philippines.  After a long hiatus from the stage and missing the thrill and rush of competition as well as striving to become the best version of herself, she decided to jump back into pageantry--and there was no question that Mrs USA Earth was the system for her!

Lisa has been heavily involved and works in the Veterinary Medicine Industry, which also corresponds with her passion for animal health and welfare.  To help bridge the gap between pageantry and animal welfare, Lisa teamed up with On a Mission KC, which gives hope to homeless pets and rural animal shelters across Kansas and Missouri.  She is honored and thrilled to use her year to leave a footprint and legacy with her mission of aiding and supporting homeless pets and shelters across the country.

Lisa now resides in Lee's Summit, Missouri with her husband, Chris and 2 sons, Giovanni (7) and Luciano (4).  Lisa's greatest passion, outside of her family, is riding and showing Quarter Horse in her free time. She has been showing since the age of 10 years old and believes that the human-animal bond is one of the greatest blessings of Mother Earth.
